Finding Clues with Detective Blue is now LIVE on Kickstarter!
Hey everyone! Wanted to give a quick update on where I am with all y’alls books! This is a very positive update :)
Real quick! TWO THINGS!
#1: Finding Clues with Detective Blue #1 is LIVE on Kickstarter and your early pledge would mean the world to me.
If we can get the book to $7k, I’ll add an additional 12-pages of story to the book for all backers :)
#2: The reason things have been so chaotic for me these last 2-3 weeks is because my wife had our third child! He’s super cute, super healthy, but we are NOT getting any sleep lol So things have been wild and balancing running a business working 12-15 hour days, and then being up all night with a baby, it’s been tough to get any comic work done.
BUT HAVE NO FEAR! WE MADE PROGRESS THIS WEEK!
On MONDAY the 13th, ALL Super Plumber Sisters #4 packages will be shipped out. I have like 50 more to box up and then we’re done!
On April 10th (yeah…today if you’re reading this), I’m sending out Bullet Assassin Living in a Fantasy World #3 digitals out to ALL backers, and then getting the print runs ready to go!
And FINALLY!
Next week the goal is to have My Sexy Witch Academia #4 done with art 100%, the next week have lettering and editing finished, and then off to backers and the printer the following week.
Then we’re done!
We’ve caught up!
We’re back in the business!
Maybe life will get a little less hectic!? Who knows.
For me? Nah. Impossible.
But what are you gonna do? Stop making comics??? Please!
I’m addicted to this shit!
Tommy is already working on Bullet Assassin Living in a Fantasy World #4. By the time we’re done with this current campaign, Alejandro will most likely start drawing chapter 2 of Finding Clues with Detective Blue. I’ve also started sketching out pages for The Girl with the Mega Fists Vol. 5.
Things are finally moving in the right direction.
It was tough for the last 6 months, and just when I finally had things sorted…BOOM!
Lost my job.
Started a business.
Got my life back in order and then BOOM!
Had a baby!
You think you’re sleeping? Think again. You’re going to be on the verge of death every day with 2-3 hours of sleep tops each night.
But don’t worry, nothing bad is gonna…BOOM!
Crisis after Crisis at your work.
But that’s life. And ultimately what I hope to showcase in all of this is the following:
Life is tough for everyone. Life is tougher for some people than others, but still, life will always be tough.
But if there is something that you want do, and you want to do it, then do it.
Find the time to do it.
Not even find the time…
MAKE the time.
You have one life. Make the most of it. You’re in control of yourself and your output.
Now go and have a silly goose time :)
